We had a fantastic day celebrating Tanabata here at Beanstalk this week.
The parents and children arrived looking amazing in their yukatas and jinbeis.
The children started to write their wishes ready to hang up on the bamboo tress.
The DeeDee students wrote their wishes all by themselves!
While our younger students had mommy and daddy help out.
With a little help from the parents and teachers the children hung their wishes on branches of the bamboo tree.
After all the wish making the parents gathered in the gym ready to watch the performances.
It was a lovely day and everyone really enjoyed celebrating Tanabata.
