It’s spring school time here at Beanstalk and the children are learning all about the micro world of insects.
The best way to get to know more about the insect world is to get up close and personal with it.
The children went outside to collect different types of insects. It was a lot of fun searching for bugs and they caught a good selection. They brought them back to the classroom to study further.
They also started an ant farm which the DeeDee group are keeping track of!
The younger students have learned a lot about insects through songs and games and have made some really good crafts.
The elementary group have been working really hard in their class. They’ve covered many topics from ant colonies to dangerous insects.
Keep watching our blog this week as you’ll find out more about the how great spring school has been for the students this year.
