The sun is shining, the flower are blooming, the temperature is rising… must be almost time for summer school! This year we will be holding summer school for 4 weeks between July 19th and August 27th, we have a lot of special themes, crafts, activities and songs planned! Won’t you join us?Week 1 (7/18-7/21) – Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?
We will spend this short week talking about Eric Carle’s classic book, learning about different animals, colors, styles of art and more. A classic and a beautiful theme!
Week 2 (7/26-7/30) – International Summer Festival
This week we will learn about different countries and cultures from around the world, and the summer celebrations they enjoy! From maypoles to dragon boats, it will be an exciting and action packed week!
Week 3 (8/16-8/20) – Hawaiian Week
Sometimes everyone needs a beach-side summer getaway, so Zoo-phonics will be taking the school across the Pacific to beautiful, tropical Hawaii (in our imaginations, at least)! It will be a week of palm trees, grass skirts, coconuts and surfboards for us. Aloha!
Week 4 (8/23-8/27) – Treasure Hunters
There’s treasure hiding everywhere, so let’s grab some shovels and telescopes and find as much of it as we can! This week we will be riding the seas on pirate ships, looking at our treasure maps and digging up as many buried treasure chests as we can find!

It is the beginning of a new school year, with new chances to learn and play!
School is back in session, and everyone here at Zoo-phonics Academy is having a great time enjoying the beautiful spring weather!
Recently the Robby Rabbit and Deedee Deer International School students were able to take advantage of the season and have a special park time at Kita-Aoyama Sanchome Park. It was great to see so much green
There were so many new and interesting things to do at the park, like try out the see-saw! It was a good way to practice balance and taking turns.
And of course it wouldn’t be park time without a chance to stretch our legs and have a good run! Everyone really loved getting a chance to visit this park, and to take a walk through our Omotesando neighborhood.
If you are interested in our International Preschool and would like to come visit for a Free Trial Lesson, please get in touch!
