 待ちに待ったサマー・スクール!

1週目のテーマは、エリック・カールの絵本より、”Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?”

子どもたちの明るく元気な笑顔と共に、初日がスタートしました!

 工作の時間には、テーマに沿って、色付きの虫眼鏡も作りました。

虫眼鏡越しに見える、別世界に子どもたちも大興奮!

たくさんの遊びやダンス、創作活動等を通して楽しく学べるのも、サマースクールだからこそ＾＾

   Today was our first day of summer school!  We were so happy to see all your bright, shining faces this morning as we started our first week’s theme, Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?

  We had a lot of fun playing, dancing, learning and making a cool color magnifying glass.  Now we can all talk about what color things are when we find them with our special tool!

  Don’t forget that we have three weeks of summer school after this one, and there are still a few open spots!  Have a look at our summer school info here and we hope you join us soon!

The weather recently has sure been hot.  We have been enjoying the sun, but also trying to stay cool and hydrated. (^^)

What are some fun things to do when the weather heats up like this?

At Zoo-phonics Omotesando our 2 and 3 year olds had a wonderful plan…

First we found a bit of shade.

All the children sat down and got comfortable.

The teacher said, “Let’s make bubbles!”

“Dip it…”

“Blow bubbles!!”

“I made it! Big one!”
It was a great chance for our younger students to express themselves naturally in English while beating the heat.

Our young students have a lot of chances to listen to English, and it is always wonderful seeing them express themselves naturally and freely.

There aren’t many better ways to relax and enjoy a summer afternoon. ♪

毎日猛暑日が続いております。
水分補給をしっかりとし、
元気よく過ごしたいですね(^^)

さて、厳しい暑さの中
みなさまはお子様と
どのように過ごされていますか？

インターナショナルスクールの
2,3歳児クラスの子ども達は
日陰でしゃぼん玉を楽しみました。

まずは並んで座って先生の説明を聞いて、
“Let’s make bubbles!”
（シャボン玉で遊びましょう！）

 
“Dip it…”
（シャボン玉液をつけて…）

 
“Blow bubbles!!”
（シャボン玉を飛ばそう！）

 
“I made it! Big one!”
（大きいのができたよ～！）
と子ども達の使える英語が自然と飛び出します。

サークルタイムやアクティビティの中で
吸収しインプット、
そして大好きなお外遊びで自然とアウトプット、
そんな機会がたっぷりある日常で
子ども達はのびのびと過ごしています♪
